JOIN US!
Get your hands dirty and learn all you need to know for fall preparations in your garden.
October 2, 10am to noon we are hosting a hands-on class at our Plenty Garden space.
You will learn what we use to prep our garden beds so that we are building soil all winter long.
Did you know that NOW is the time to get your garden ready to thrive next season?
We will share all of the supplies we gather this time of year (most of which are free) to add to our soil health.
Fall Planting - GARLIC
At Saturday’s class, you will get to help us plant our garlic, as well as learn where we source ours from. We will share all the details you need for growing your own successful crop.
Winter Salad Greens
One of the things that keeps me sane during the long, cold winter months, is knowing I have a crop of fresh, nourishing salad greens growing under cover. This was a challenge to learn, (with several failed attempts) but we now have plenty of tips from several seasons - to share. If you are interested in learning how grow greens during the winter months - we will discuss it during this class.
There is a short window of time for planting them (in our region) so we want to share this information in time.
At the class you will learn:
which seed varieties are most cold hardy
what materials you’ll need to keep your winter crop protected
the ideal location for planting
tips for keeping them alive during the winter
We hope you can join us for the class - space is limited, so tell a friend and sign up soon!
