Large 3" jalapenos on vigorous, productive 3 ft plants. Reliably produces peppers with consistent medium heat, somewhat hotter than your average jalapenos. Introduced by Larry Pierce of Cabool, MO named it “Traveler” because he selected it over the course of 20 years in several states as he moved around the U.S. This is a favorite Jalapeno variety because of its large size, consistent heat and productivity. We enjoy letting them ripen until red for a sweet, medium hot flavor, although picking them green is an option too!

All Plenty Farms plant starts are grown in our custom soil blend. Made from our own compost to provide the plants nutrients, we do not use any chemical fertilizers. We believe this allows the plant to acclimate to home gardens. We recommend you amend your garden soil with compost when planting to give your plants the best start possible!
